BriGuy BriGuy Fresh Scripter Registered: 2003-04-17 Posts: 19 Loc: Canada	Is there anyway to ensure that my script has finished running before the desktop icons, taskbar, etc. load on the desktop? Currently, users are able to start apps and open files locally before the script has finished executing. This is no good as sometimes we have important info to display. I would like to have my script complete executing and then continue to load the desktop, etc. Any ideas?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE will require administrative privileges under Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 in order to write to it, alternatively write to HKEY_CURRENT_USER. [ 29. BriGuy BriGuy Fresh Scripter Registered: 2003-04-17 Posts: 19 Loc: Canada	Howard... this only works with W2k/XP? Any ideas if i have a mix mode network? Ranging from Windows 95 to Windows XP. Essentially i want to pause the workstation from booting, until the script is finished running.
