Kdyer Kdyer KiX Supporter Registered: 2001-01-03 Posts: 6241 Loc: Tigard, OR	Went to - http://www.netal.com/download.htm And downloaded the "System Scripting Runtime 1.4" Within this, archive it shows that you can do a PING or other Network options on line, i.e. no 'SHELL' should be necessary when running from a script. This does a whole host of things from the DLL that are network-related. A fair portion of the funionality is built into KiX, but this loooks good. Very cool stuff! Kent [ 11. Host - Hostname or IP Address as a string. Count - Number of echo requests as an integer. Default is 1. Size - Packet size in bytes as an integer. Default is 32 bytes.
