I cannot upload pictures, so I can't show what I am seeing on the Kixtart website.

This link - http://kixtart.org/UDF/

50% of the time I click on it, it does not show the list of udf's on the LHS. All it shows is

 Quote:
Kixtart.org UDF library collection
Here is listed all user defined functions from kixtart.org UDF library, currently UDF's

The code listed on these pages can be copied and pasted directly into your text/code editor.

All questions and requests should be targeted to Kixtart.org BBS

This collection is not anymore mirrored on:
NTDOC's KiXhelp.com
Bryce's Isorg.com

*correctly formed UDF topic includes at least these three parts:
-"()" in the subject field (also " - " is currently accepted)
-function keyword
-endfunction keyword

More info on the correct topic construction can be found in:
Guidelines() - for posting in the UDF forum

At the moment, it's not showing the udf's again and it wasn't last night. But it was working earlier in the week. But I know I had problems with it a couple of weeks ago. Everything on the LHS of the line is blank. It's 8:50 AM UK time here now.

Also - I have noticed the website is very slow to load everything. It feels to me like it's on a very old hard drive that probably needs to be replaced. It has that sluggishness feel of an old hard drive. I don't think it's ram, cpu etc that is the issue.

As of 4:50pm UK time, the functions are back again! I am not sure what time they came online as I was working on other things today. So is working now, wasn't working this morning or last night. No idea why!

As I recall, that is an externally coded module and not part of the BBS software. I'm not sure who wrote it or even if they still support it.

It's also a bit fiddly about how the post titles are formatted, so not every UDF in the forums are listed there. And - with some of those UDFs going back 25 years (without any dates in the headers, or even without headers) - the page is not anywhere near as useful as it once was. It's an easy way to find something that's so outdated it won't work with current technology.

That would make sense. I checked last night and it was down again and it is still down this morning. I suspect it's being hosted on a computer that is switched off at night or after their work day! I presume that nobody has noticed before because it's rare that we need to look at the udf's to create new code.

I think it should be removed - if it's legacy as you say (although everything I used from there works) - but especially because it's not available 24/7 anymore.
