Display @SERROR as well as @ERROR.

@SERROR is the text version of the error message, and may sometimes help.

You can also display the text version of the non-negative numbers by using "NET HELPMSG"
 Quote:
H:\>net helpmsg 1

Incorrect function.


H:\>net helpmsg 13

The data is invalid.


H:\>net helpmsg 32

The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.


H:\>net helpmsg 44
44 is not a valid Windows network message number.
