I'm looking for an script/program editor for Kix (and others) that support colloring text between () and "" and IF ENDIF statements etc. I'm getting #@$% of errors like 'ENDIF statement without IF' [ 26. February 2003, 16:20: Message edited by: sealeopard ]

If you want to do this somewhat quickly, you can grab KixStrip.
There are several Add-Ons and templates for Editing in KiXtart.
If you want to get an editor that has some of this built-in, please visit - http://versionzero.romanweb.com HTH,

My personal favorite is Edit Plus. Extremely customizable for all scripting languages, and includes some features like auto completion, templating, etc.

I've tried the one from kixscripts.com and ConText: ConText seems far better! The only thing I miss using it, is the ability to use Network drives as favorites, like \\server\share\folder. This is usefull for e.g. the netlogon share which usually doesn't have a driveletter assigned. Other than that this one is great!I don't like the one from Kixscripts.com...

UltraEdit is the one that Mr. spok would use the for scripting at Enterpise, but I can not find nowhere the colorize instructions file for kixtart. If you have it please beam it to me.PS. It has also the best column support I ever seen.

You can download a complete WordFile.txt for Ultraedit from www.scriptlogic.com/kixtart. I'll post here if requested.-Brian

I have to add it because I think it is one of the BEST all around scripting tools: Primalscript. Name is different, but the tool is absolutely first rate. (http://www.primalscript.com)
