Hi, I have different localized windows NT on the network. How can I identify them when deploying MS hotfixes?

Traditional Chinese NT4 workstations
Simplified Chinese W2K servers
Korea W2K servers
etc.

You can try:

WMIQuery('OSLanguage','Win32_OperatingSystem',$computer,'Primary','True')

get WMIQuery() in the UDF forum

why remotely?
just do a shutdown() loop for each machine you need to patch.
logonscript will take care of the rest [Big Grin]

sure.
the syslang is anyway in the reg, so all you need is reading the value.
then pushing the patch to it's HD and using scheduler to install it.
monitor the process and shutdown the machine.
or even, let the patch job restart the wksta.
