I've sent mail to Microsoft (but so far they've not replied) I have tried this script and a few others even using WSH and it DID work in the past. Some security update must have broken/changed it.

If someone with an actual account with Microsoft can send them an e-mail maybe we could get a definitive answer.

I'm not in an environment to test it right now, but I can assure you it worked in the past... you may be right about ms changing something.

just a simple question :
what is our OS ?

locally it's working but if you try to get informations on an Windows 2003 Server or an XP workstation from an NT 4 workstation, this is not working.

This is a known problem.

in system32\wbem, rename the wbemprox.dll, and then copy this dll from an Windows 2000 workstation or server. Restart your computer.
Your script should work correctly.

Now, I am still using an NT 4 workstation and i manage NT4, W2K, W2K3 servers successfully.
