I have two cents....
I have read all the info on getting the script to run with admin powers and what not. I haven't tried the scheduler, I will be trying that soon. But a little while ago I found a small scripting utility called AutoIt that will allow me to use the Win2K "run as" command. I use the login script to call the AutoIt script which in turn calls the kix script that needs admin privs, HKLM hacks and what not. It ships with a compiler so I just package it into an exe and put the exe on the domain controller. The compiler has a password feature so you can have some added protection.
Just a thought....
