Kixforms on Windows 8

Has anyone tried using kixforms on Windows 8? I just tried to use Postprep, and get

"The instruction at 0x04718524 referenced memory at 0x04718524. The memory could not be written. Click on OK to terminate the program."

I really didn't have time to look into it and just fired up my old Win 7 box to get the job done.

Not only do I use it pretty extensively, I'm developing a new GUI for out log management service as we speak on Windows 8.

I actually use the KixForms DLL to implement timers and Socket communications in system services in addition to GUI apps. I've installed them on all current platforms, from Windows server 2003 through 2012, and XP, Vista, Win7, and Win8. I am running the latest version - 2.47.5.

You mind posting 2.47.5 here? I don't see it on the kixforms site.

It's there.. see this post: http://www.kixtart.org/forums/ubbthreads...true#Post202903

It's a version that Shawn tweaked for me to resolve the WinSock communications issue. I've been using it for socket communications between a client and a remote service for some time. Both the client and server service are Kix/KF-based.

Wow, even that file is like 4 years old now.
