Quote: Dear KiXtart supporters, attached to this email is the final build of KiXtart 2010 4.61… It’s been a long ride this time, but I hope you like the end result. This update contains the following fixes & enhancements: · Fixed issue with handling of EXIT codes · Fixed issue with COPYing files to a directory (without specifying a backslash) · Fixed issue with writing large DWORD values to the registry · Updated @PRODUCTTYPE to correctly report Server 2008(R2) & Windows 7 · Added REPLACE function · Fixed @LOGONMODE (yes, finally!) · Fixed BREAK “0” Check out KIX2010.TXT and the manual for more detail on the enhancements. Please feel free to share this build on your websites or via email. As always, thanks for all your support and input. Ruud van Velsen The latest and greatest versions of KiXtart (2.33/3.63/4.61) can be found on: http://kixtart.org |

Hi Allen (and via you to Ruud)... Thank you VERY much for your continued patience and dedication to my KiX experiences. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to make time from your 'real' work to burn private hours returning, as you do, to the task of keeping KiXtart uptodate. I imagine some of our requests (maybe even 'demands') must get under your skin. I for one, do appreciate your efforts and thank you. |

I was just pulling my hair out trying to get Mapped Drives to work on Win7 w/4.51 and here I find 4.61 and it works! Thanks! |

Hi Radimus... That's a REALLY useful link in your signature. I've created a PDF and will be sending it to a few clients. |
Now that's exiting news |
indeed, PDF's are the future! |

So... I have a question. In v4.51 and lower if I double clicked on wkix32.exe with a file called "kixtart.kix" in the same folder/path as the EXE, WKIX32 ran the kix file. Now in v4.61 that feature is gone. Am I missing something or was this intended? Chris |

The feature worked up to 4.53, was broken in 4.60, but repaired in 4.61. I have no problem either running "kix32.exe" at the command prompt or via double-clicking from Explorer and launchnig "kixtart.kix". Verify that you indeed have the latest release and not a beta. Glenn |

Hi guys, Has anyone noticed this on the main page of KORG? Quote: What's New 4.61 is on it's way. Still in the beta state, but lot of improvements have got their way in to the new version. To know what, get it from downloads page and check the beta forum for more details. Still in beta state? I thought the latest release of 4.61 was a final build. |
It is final. The main page has not updated to reflect it. |
