Update GetFileTime to support other parameters
|
Would like to see the GetFileTime() updated to support the other parameters.
I know that KiXtart has trouble accessing this information but wonder if it's possible to do in a similar fashion as the FSO COM method.
Date Modified (currently supported)
Date Created (add to KiXtart)
Date Accessed (add to KiXtart)
Quote:
GetFileTime( )
Action: Returns the date and time information of a file.
Syntax: GETFILETIME ("file name")
Parameters: File name
Identifies the file for which you want to retrieve the date and time information.
Remarks: The information returned represents the time the file was last written to.

While you're at it, P L E A S E fix it and GetFileSize() so that they report on in-use files like FSO can.

This is addressed in 4.51. A beta will be available soon.

...and will the new version of getfiletime also address folders? I've updated the getfolderdate udf but there no real need to post it if going to be inbuild.

Yep, it deals with files as well as folders.
