KiXtart 2010 4.66 released!

Dear KiXtart supporters,

Well, I think this is what they call a “Just In Time’ release… I’m glad to report that KiXtart 2010 4.66, with support for Windows 10…, was just finalized.

I have asked the guys at KiXtart.org to post the file there, and I you think you have an email address where you can receive the zip, just let me know. In the mean time, you can also download the file from this OneDrive link: KiXtart 4.66

Fixes & enhancements in this release:

• Added support for Windows 10
• Fixed issue in FormatNumber with values < 0
• Fixed issue in Ascan on Windows 7
• Enhanced Trim() so it also treats carriage returns as whitespace..

Please feel free to share this build and of course: let me know if you encounter any issues!

Thanks for your continued support!!

Ruud van Velsen

Re: KiXtart 2010 4.66 released!

Just deployed 4.66 to all my production scripts. No issues noticed. Old 4.62 tokenized scripts work with 4.66 too.

So far so good.

Re: KiXtart 2010 4.66 released!

Running our KGen "All" command tonight to migrate all of our systems management scripts to 4.66. I've developed about 40 Kix-based scripts that are part of an Remote Maintenance & Management (RMM) environment using Kaseya, and currently deployed to over 1000 endpoints and growing.

Several of the scripts also depend on KixForms for OOP and a GUI, so this should be a fairly thorough test.. I'll report back with any issues I find.

I did run the tokenized GUI tool (tsADM) today without re-tokenizing without any issues. In the past, this has been a real issue, often throwing an error referencing an odd or even non-existent line number.
