K 2010

i tried your new version of K 2010 (4.50) beta 1
Just wanted to try a tokenized script with a sample script (fly.kix)
command kix32 fly.kix /T
i've got a error message "Acquisition of crypto contect failed" that refers always to the last line of the file + 1
i've tried a lot of simple script even the "hello world" one
Is there something i'm missing ?

I can confirm this. I get the same error message here. What OS are you using there Mandala?

I have tried this (with KiX 2010) and I do not get this problem. I am using Windows XP Professional (with SP1).

Thanks for the update. The fact that you use a french version of Windows probably explains the problem, as crypto functionality in these versions is restricted (by the french government).
I will investigate and see if/how this can be addressed.

Hello Ruud, Im using non-localized Win9x with the SE updates and I receive the same error. Does it require higher than win9x by any chance?

OS: Windows 2000 Server service Pack 4 plus all security updates
KIX32 v4.50 beta 1 using a simple ? 'Hello world' script. Both the clear-text script and the tokenized script execute just fine.

Just to let you know that I have sent out an updated version of BETA 1 that hopefully addresses the 'Failed to acquire Crypto context' issue.
If the problem persists, even this version, by all means let me know.

The new beta 1a seems to have fixed the crypto error on my win98 machine here. Thanks Ruud.
