Findings with the latest build
|
|
Noticed that Ruud re-built the tokenizing algorithm. Had to re-do the scripts. However, they do seem smaller.

They did not initially until redone.. That is, the main script calls other scripts and the called scripts did not work until they were re-tokenized.
But, they sure are speedy! I added in an option to show progress and an option to hide. WKIX32 sure is slick!

Tested it on our login script, script went from 115K (incl. comments) to 43K. However, the speed did not increase, most likely casued by all the tasks the script is performing which rely on Windows actions, e.g. mapping drives and printers, writing to the registry, and so on.

the incompability with old build was fully known thing (ruud even said it on this very board)
haven't got a change to test it but believe that he has improven the tokenizer quite a bit (from the previous lacky one)... will see.
