KixScript /Novell Conflict

I am having a problem with clients that use both Novell and Microsoft clients. When they log in they get an error in Kix "Unable to locate script" If I remove Novell client they work fine. Any ideas?

Re: KixScript /Novell Conflict

use the full path to the kix scripts. or use %0\..\

example:
%0\..\kix32.exe %0\..\logon.kix

Re: KixScript /Novell Conflict

This is a very old problem, and Novell has issued a work-around for it which requires the modification of two registry entries;

Novells TID is 2932815 ...

This provider order swap (TID 2932815) also resolves RPC problems. It is also documented in KiX.

Re: KixScript /Novell Conflict

There is actually a tool to perform the necessary registry changes available from www.scriptlogic.com

It's called NetOrder.exe
