NT 4.0 event Kixtart error 35

The NT 4.0 event log reports an Kixtart error 35.
The description for error 35 could not be found.
Failed to retrieve NIC addres error(0x23/35).

Kixtart version 3.63 is used.

Does anyone know what can cause this problem ?

Another thought.. is your kix32.exe in your %systemroot% folder?

Be sure that you aren't using a mixed set of kixtart binaries and DLLs. Also
be also sure the active KXRPC is the related one.
