Kix without WINS and Broadcast name resolution?

Hello,
at the moment i test if is possible to use Kix (4.61) in a multi domain environment. If i not configure a NETBIOS name resolution for the user account domain i get some event error messages.

UserGetLocalGroups failed Error : The RPC-Server is not available. (0x6ba/1722)

Whats the best way to fix it without using WINS/LMHOST?

No one has i idea? At the moment i need static entry in the WINS Database for the DC of the user domain. The script are executed on Remote Desktop Server (W2K8R2) if a user login in the resource domain. The intention is to disable WINS in the resource domain.

hmm... I think it's by design. not totally sure, but this is how kix was built on 1983 or something and has never been updated on that part.

I hope that Ruud now resolve the issues in environments with single sides trusts and use of kix in the resource domain

Has anyone running Kixtart in a single sides trusted domain environment without the usage of WINS?
