Hi everyone. I have a bit of a dilema..... which is causing me a few headaches. our marketing department would like me to find the best way to place the corporate templates in a folder on the laptop users machine that will be scanned upon login and if there are any updates to the templates these will be pushed to the laptop users machine. I was initially thinking of a dos batch file, but how would you be able to compare the files to see if there have been any changes? So then I hit upon the idea of using Kixtart, but as I am a newbie, this is more of a challenge than I first thought of. So if anyone can assist then that would be appreciated. Cheers, C. |

You can download it from the Server 2003 Tools and install it on XP. Once you have it then you can use the file ROBOCOPY.EXE anywhere as it is a standalone file. It will work just fine in your Corporate environment. I've used it for years in a few places and it's a fantastic utility written by Microsoft. |
