Hi everyone;
In our environment we have a number of events scheduled (Windows Task Scheduler) for late night, weekends. The events that have scripts or MS Access macros that include the Send Keys commands will not run while the Win2K workstation is locked. [Confused]

Can anyone think of a creative way to circumvent this issue (without leaving the workstation unlocked)? Open to registry hacks, script mods, almost anything..

Thanks,
Michele

yeah.
using this type of approach indeed needs access to current users desktop...
or something.

anyway, you could study the the com-way.
it should be all about translating the macros to kix and using something like:
$MSaccess=createobject("access.application")

as the base for it.
this way it's hidden etc.

well, haven't studied any office com so much but pretty basic it should be once you get hold of the base...
