Hi

I currently use a kix script as my logon script but need to call a vbscript to install a software. Does anyone know the command to use or know of a utility that can convert my vbscript to a kix script?

Thanks

Sorry im quite a beginner at this. The line is have is:

;SETUP CUSTOMISED SCRIPT FOR test

If InGroup ("test") = 1
Shell "\\server\share\test.vbs"

EndIf

but it looks like it's unable to run the vbs file. Any ideas how to make it run?

You can do a RUN or a SHELL to REGEDIT /S

But KiXtart can natively edit the logon script for you without running REGEDIT.

ReadValue, WriteValue in the manual.
